Customer Sales Representative

As a customer sales representative you will achieve business goals through focused sales activities including: prospecting new clients by networking, cold calling, researching, and building rapport. You will be responsible for honoring the day-to-day commitments of your accounts. You will create and implement solutions to increase efficiency, add value, and maximize profitability through customer supply chains.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new clients by networking, cold calling, and researching

  • Maximize potential opportunities within established accounts

  • Foster close relationships and develop opportunities with existing customers to achieve growth

  • Maintain overall positive client experience

  • Collaborate with the Carrier Sales team to streamline processes

  • Manage performance expectations through customer account metrics

  • Serve as the direct contact between your client, carrier, shipper, and receiver

  • Ensure the successful on-time pickup and delivery of the client’s goods

  • Be readily available to address concerns and provide solutions to customers and carriers with any problems that may arise
     

Qualifications:

  • Clear and confident communication

  • A minimum of two years experience in Third Party Logistics

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Market knowledge

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results

  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others

  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task

  • Ambitious and enthusiastic attitude
